2012 (Senior)

Perkins returned in full force to the Pirates in his final campaign, as he was named Co-SCAC Offensive Player of the Year. He also earned First-Team All-SCAC honors as he led the team with 15 goals, a single-season school record and eight assists. Perkins also closes his career as the all-time leader in goals with 34, while setting a school record for goals in a game with four against Texas Lutheran which also earned him SCAC Player of the Week honors. The senior again earned SCAC Player of the Week accolades as he recorded a hat trick Oct. 12 in a win over Centenary College with three goals. He was also named SCAC All-Tournament, NSCAA All-West Region Second-Team, CoSIDA Academic All-District and NSCAA Third-Team Scholar All-America. His hard work in the classroom also earned him a spot on the SCAC Academic Honor Roll.  

 

2011 (Junior)

Perkins led the Pirate attack this season. Missing part of the season due to injury, he played in 13 games. Perkins led SU in five statistical categories: points (22), goals (10), shots (38), shots on goal (28), and game-winning goals (3). His 10 goals ranked him fifth in the conference. Perkins recorded two hat-tricks on the season, Sept. 25 v Chapman and Oct. 9 v Rhodes. On October 3rd, Evan was named the SCAC Co-Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Evan was also named to the All-SCAC Second Team, Third Team All-Region and Capital One Academic All-District Second Team. Perkins was named to the SCAC Academic Honor Roll and earned a spot on the Spring Dean's List and was recognized as Who's Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges. 

 

2010 (Sophomore)

Perkins had an outstanding sophomore season, starting all 19 contests he competed in. He was second on the team in goals (8), assists (6) and points (22). He took 45 shots, 18 on goal, for a .400 shots on goal percentage and recorded two game winning goals. Perkins was selected to the All-SCAC Third Team for his efforts this season.

2009 (First-Year)

Started all 18 games in his rookie season...scored one goal and had one assist for three points on the season...took 15 shots on the season, 8 on goal, for a .533 shots on goal percentage...Third Team 2009 All-SCAC selection...named to the SCAC 2009 Fall Academic Honor Roll and Fall 2009 Dean's List

High School

A 2009 graduate from Keller High School in Keller, TX, Evan lettered in football, baseball, track, and soccer.  Evan was a First Team Academic All-State selection.

Personal

Evan is the son of Susan and Terry and has two siblings, Trey and Christian.  Evan is a biochemistry major with a business minor at SU.
